Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is a well-known American actress. She is most known as the Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. Her breakout role as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light was also praised. The most memorable film roles she has played includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of Elisabeth's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the team who wrote the movie Immortals. Additionally, she's working on a new show named Gods & Heroes.
